Douglas Oil Company installs all types of residential heating systems. Steam, forced hot water, forced warm air and hydro air systems. Installation work pertains to replacement of antiquated or incompatible existing heating systems presently in residential homes; however we install heating systems for new homes as well.

Boiler Brand Names – steam or hot water application only

H.B Smith, Utica, Weil Mc Lein, Williamson
All residential boilers are cast iron, wet base backed by a manufacturers limited life warrantee on cast molding for such boiler.
All other installation work comes with a full year guarantee from completion date for both labor and replacement parts.

Warm Air Furnances – Low-Boy and Hi-Boy Residential Application only
Heil, Williamson
All residential warm air furnaces come with ten year warranty on heating exchange only by manufacturer. All other installation work comes with a full year guarantee from completion date for both camin and replacement parts.

Direct Fired Hot Water Heaters
John Wood 40-80 gallon capacity with 6 year warranty on tank by manufacturer

All heaters come with a 5 year full warrantee on glass lining of tank by manufacturer.

Indirect Water Heaters
Amtrol Boilermate, Boch, Megastorr and Williamson
Please note: Indirect hot water heater can only be tied into existing forced hot water boiler. Some stream application applies.

Warranties on new equipment varies with each manufacturer, usually on cast iron boilers a warranty of lifetime on boiler block is the norm on steel boilers and warm air units the warranty is usually 6 – 10 years.
